After a record-breaking number of entries, OEUK and Step Change in Safety’s Offshore Safety Awards have announced Healthoutfit as a finalist in a new award category for 2024 – Wellbeing and Workforce Environment.
The Healthoutfit team was nominated by TotalEnergies UK for continuously exceeding expectations when it comes to introducing innovative solutions for their employee health and wellbeing programme.
Chelsea Page, Healthoutfit Team Leader, describes one such innovation: “The 6-week Raise Your Game challenge has been a great way to promote healthy habits on and offshore. Utilising a hybrid of technology and individual engagement, results are continuously tracked and managed via our Raise Your Game app.”
The daily leader board and motivational weekly emails encouraged retention and adherence, with a team of Wellness coaches on hand to assist with additional support and personalised interventions – especially for those trying to change a long-term unhealthy habit.
The Raise Your Game challenge was free for all employees and contractors, ensuring equitable access and promoting a healthier work force. Both individual prizes and charity donations were awarded as the challenge completed.
Steve McIntosh, Healthoutfit Managing Director, said: “Having real time data from our Health and Wellbeing campaigns and initiatives allows our clients to cross reference their safety stats and medivac numbers. For TotalEnergies, these data showed a correlation between higher participation from offshore sites in our campaigns and lower medivac numbers.”
